Congratulations to LCP wrestlers who competed in their inaugural District Tournament over the weekend! Under first year coach Joseph Rios, the Pirates placed 3rd in the Girls division and 7th in the Boys division! The wrestlers listed will advance to the Regional Tournament next weekend at El Paso Bel Air High School. Way to go, Pirates!

Lubbock-Cooper ISD will operate on a two-hour delay tomorrow, Friday, February 4. Buses will also run on a two-hour delay.
We encourage drivers to utilize the delay to allow themselves plenty of travel time to campuses, and we urge drivers to be very cautious.
Congratulations to the LCHS Pirate Football team, named the 5A SCHOOL STATE CHAMPION in the 2021-22 National Football Foundation High School Academic Excellence Award finals after a review of 84 finalists! The team will now be considered for the National Champion honor, to be announced next week. Each elementary campus, both middle schools, and LCHS will be showcasing more than 300 pieces of visual art, dance, theatre, vocal performance, and instrumental groups! Join us!
