This means that building opening times, school start times, and morning bus routes will shift two hours later than regularly scheduled. Due to poor road conditions, Lubbock-Cooper ISD has canceled school for Tuesday, January 27. All LCISD campuses and offices will be closed.

Due to anticipated inclement weather, Lubbock-Cooper ISD campuses will release early on Friday, January 23. Elementary campuses will release at 12:00 p.m. and secondary campuses will release at 12:45 p.m. Lunches will be served, and buses will run on the earlier schedule.

In anticipation of possible inclement weather conditions, some adjustments have been made to athletic events originally scheduled for Friday evening or Saturday.
As we prepare for incoming winter weather, please know that district administrators are closely monitoring the forecast and remain in communication with local officials.
