Enrollment for New Students

Welcome to Lubbock-Cooper ISD! We're so glad you've decided to make this your school home.

To enroll in the current 2023-2024 school year, follow the directions and links below. Within the application, the option to select the appropriate school year will be given.

Before completing the steps below, please note that at this time, Lubbock-Cooper ISD does not accept transfer students. To be enrolled in our district, a child must live within our district boundaries (see map below). If an application is submitted without proper proof of residency within the district, your application will be denied. 

If you are enrolling a PreK or Foreign Exchange student, you will NOT complete an online enrollment application. Please report to your student's home campus to enroll in person.

Enrollment in Lubbock-Cooper ISD begins with an online application where you will be asked to digitally upload all required enrollment documents for district viewing and acceptance prior to your reporting to a campus. Please be prepared to upload the following documents:

  • Student's state-issued birth certificate

  • Student's Social Security card

  • Student's current immunization records

  • Parent/Guardian driver’s license or government issued ID

  • Proof of residency within the district in the form of a current utility bill from within the past 60 days. Utility bills must include the name and date on the bill and the service address (not mailing address). For an LP&L bill, pages 1 and 4 will need to be provided. Most other bills provide all information on page 1. If there are no utility bills to provide due to renting, a lease agreement may be accepted.

  • Previous school records for high school students, if available.  

  • Withdrawal Papers if your student is coming from another school district. Withdrawal paperwork is not needed for summer enrollment.

    Additional documentation that may apply:

  • Legal documentation in place and/or associated with your student. 

  • If the student is living with someone other than their legal parent/guardian, additional notarized paperwork will be requested and required from the district.

An email address is required to complete the online enrollment process. There are many free email account options available to you. For help creating a free Google email account, click HERE. 

When you are ready to begin the required online enrollment process, please click HERE. Upon completing this initial intake, you will be emailed a link to the online application along with login credentials. The online application must be completed and submitted in order for your request to be processed. 

IMPORTANT: If any of the situations below apply to you, you will click HERE to apply for enrollment instead of using the link above. 

  • Enrolling a student that has previously attended Lubbock-Cooper ISD but withdrew and is now returning. 

  • You have had a student previously attend Lubbock-Cooper ISD but would now like to enroll a different student. 

  • You have a student currently attending Lubbock-Cooper ISD but would like to enroll another student. 

In all of the scenarios above, your family access account is still active. Once logged into your account, please click
New Student Online Enrollment’ at the top left to enroll your student. 

If your student has withdrawn from LCISD within the current school year and you are needing to re-enroll, or you are needing to enroll a Pre-K student, you will not fill out the online application. Please contact your campus office to enroll your student.

Current Student - Annual Registration

(All Current Students)

Annual Online Registration is now open to all current students. The completion of this process is required every year of a student's enrollment within the district. Please click HERE to complete the required online registration for your student(s) by logging into your Skyward Family Access account and clicking on "Annual Online Registration" at the top left. You must complete Online Registration for each student enrolled in the district.
