LCISD is pleased to announce the hiring of Mike Moffitt as new head coach of the LCHS Volleyball program! Coach Moffitt brings extensive experience to the Lady Pirates, including coaching at the high school, club, and collegiate levels. As a four-time District Coach of the Year, Coach Moffitt has most recently led the Amarillo High School Volleyball team to an undefeated 2023 home season and a district record of 48-2, including a current 38-district-game winning streak. We are excited to welcome Coach Moffitt, along with his wife, two daughters, and son, to the LCP Family!
LCISD will host pre-k and kindergarten registration for the 2024-25 school year from 12:00-6:00 p.m. TOMORROW, Thursday, April 4, at the LCISD Administrative Offices (13807 Indiana Ave.)!
Please enter through Door 5 on the south side of the building, near the LCISD Police Department.

**Students currently enrolled in LCISD pre-k for the 2023-24 school year will be automatically enrolled in LCISD kindergarten. There is no need to attend registration if your child is a current LCISD pre-k student.

Covenant Health System provided a Lunch and Learn opportunity to LCMS and LBMS 8th graders. Students worked with healthcare professionals to learn about heart rate, blood pressure, respiration, and temperature. The program encourages students interested in the healthcare field to begin coursework in high school within the Health Science program, which can help them earn a national credential and begin working in the hospital!
