Due to inclement weather and the potential for increasingly hazardous road conditions overnight, Lubbock-Cooper ISD will operate on a two-hour delay tomorrow, Monday, February 12. Buses will run on pavement only, also on a two-hour delay. We encourage drivers to utilize the delay to allow themselves plenty of travel time to campuses, and we urge drivers to be very cautious.

Congratulations to LCHS' Hannah Nicholas, selected as a Delegate to the Congress of Future Medical Leaders! This prestigious conference is an honors program designed for high school students aspiring to pursue careers in medicine or medical research. Hannah's nomination, endorsed by Nobel Prize winner and Science Director of the National Academy of Future Physicians and Medical Scientists Dr. Mario Capecchi, is a testament to her academic achievements, leadership potential, and dedication. Over the three-day Congress in June, Hannah will engage with students from across the nation, attend lectures by Nobel Laureates and National Medal of Science Winners, receive guidance from Ivy League and top medical school deans, and gain insights into cutting-edge advances in medicine and medical technology. Well done, Hannah! Thank you for representing the #LCPfamily so well!
