LCHS students Jenna Loya and Kiley Crisp will speak today at the Special Olympics Texas Regional Youth Leadership Conference, hosting a session about starting Unified programs in schools and how their experience at Lubbock-Cooper has shaped them and impacted our community! Congratulations to three LCHS athletes who have advanced to the Swimming & Diving STATE MEET! Sarah MacLachlan and Luke Juels qualified in 1-M Diving at Regionals (making Sarah the first female diver to qualify for State in LCHS history), and Kyler Beights qualified in the 200 and 500 Freestyle! The south entrances into the LCHS parking lot from Woodrow Road (where construction is underway) are excessively muddy. Drivers are encouraged to enter the LCHS campus on the north side (using Loop 493).

Due to inclement weather and the potential for increasingly hazardous road conditions overnight, Lubbock-Cooper ISD will operate on a two-hour delay tomorrow, Monday, February 12. Buses will run on pavement only, also on a two-hour delay. We encourage drivers to utilize the delay to allow themselves plenty of travel time to campuses, and we urge drivers to be very cautious.
