The Dance Department was created in 2016 and has grown every year since its creation. The dance department has on average 100+ students every year.

Dance is offered to 9th - 12th grade students. No dance experience is required. Students taking dance can receive either a Fine Arts or PE credit. If more than one year of dance is taken, students can receive a Fine Arts credit one year and a PE credit a second year. The dance department puts on an end of year performance that all students participate in.

Students learn different styles of dance, and have performance exams throughout the fall semester while spring semester is dedicated to the end-of-year performance.

The annual end-of-year performance has become a staple of the program and an event all students look forward to. All classes perform in the recital showcasing a variety of dance styles. It is a two night event full of energy and love celebrating the art of dance!
